Content Experiences

The purpose of Content Experiences (‘CXP’) is to inspire and assist customers through content, which helps them to imagine and express their own individual style.

We partner with Markets, Propositions and Partners to make the most out of the earned customer attention to deepen customer relationships.

With this purpose the team is accountable for:

  1. Bespoke starting points that inspire customers across all propositions such as Gender Homes

  2. Managing and optimising placements across the onsite customer journey from awareness to performance activities

  3. Enabling Markets, Propositions and Partners (all authors) to plan, execute and review onsite presence and marketing campaigns to deepen customer relationships

We add value to the company by:

  1. Retaining users and customers thus increasing the opportunities for future conversions and advertising revenue

  2. Monetising the engagement immediately together with ZMS

  3. Nudging customers towards relevant actions and corresponding events

  4. Revolutionising the Customer - Partner Content Experience to connect with new customer groups and with strategic brand assortment

This is how
we work

Our product management, product design and engineering, applied science teams are located equally in Helsinki and Berlin - some of them even work fully distributed. We collaborate with various other disciplines like analytics, marketing, content & programming.

With more than 40 team members we are expected to make a big impact and deliver remarkable results so you get first hand experience of how to work backwards to deliver at scale.

We connect brands with customers, giving them an opportunity to share their values, ideas, and stories. We learn a lot from brands directly. Everything we do happens in close contact with the real world and real needs.

This is my first Software Engineer role so everything I’ve worked on has been super exciting. Every day is a challenge, and sometimes it seems that every task is hiding something new and complicated. Even though my main focus as a Junior is learning,
I’m trying to bring as much value as I can. I’m enjoying the challenge and being a part of the best team I have ever worked with.

My passion is to reach things I once considered unreachable. Zalando helped me to do that by offering me this job! In the past year, I was involved in a few significant projects and had the pleasure to support onboarding my new team mates.

The most important things I learned were how to deal with people, personal responsibility and tasks that seemed incomprehensible at first. Moreover, it shows how much trust there is at Zalando; even as a Junior, you can be a valuable part of something big.
